Changes Ongoing

One of the really cool things about the Atari 2600 was that it was just a relatively simple system. And with years of develop work behind it, some of the later games were light years beyond the original titles. As I now have reached the 2400 entry mark, I am thinking that I want to make one last try at making some changes before the amount of content becomes just too much to manage. Originally, I wrote such short entries that I didn’t think they would look right on a page to themselves. In many cases, that is no longer the case. And many of the pages are actually too crowded. I also have a lot of broken internal links as some entries still point to the original GreyMatter permalink. I want to take some time to setup a new permalink system (I have one in mind) and I have some new ideas that I want to try. I love Firda’s designs, but I think I am getting a lot better (finally!) at understanding what I want to do. And MovableType has gotten a lot better. I am thinking of doing something that will involve the EntryNumber plugin (and it was just released). And I want Faceted Archives as well. Now, I just need time to get it all done…
