Earthlink and Kornet

My brother just received an e-mail that claimed to be from Earthlink asking to verify his credit card information. It looked real enough, just as they always do, but the return address was at hotmail.com and the site the links took you to are on 211.230.148.73. That address is apparently in a range controlled by a Korean ISP, Kornet. I notified the proper authorities and expect that action will be swift.
