VNC Versions

Once upon a time, a group of researchers created Virtual Network Computing and it was good. The spiritual descendant of that project is now located at RealVNC. The Beta for 4.0 is showing a great deal of promise. Other branch projects have included the optimized TightVNC and the commercialized TridiaVNC. Last night, I ran across the multi-featured Ultr@VNC. Each one has various advantages, and each shows the true power of open source. Oh, and I have something to try out on the Treo as well.
