Movable Type 3.0 and on will not be the solution for everyone, and that’s okay. For some users, TypePad makes more sense. For others, non-Six Apart tools make more sense. – Mena Trott
After some careful decision-making, I came to the conclusion that I was doing nothing on this site that required I stay with Movable Type. And moving to WordPress just seemed like the logical choice.
That does not mean that I will make the same decision every time. I have some other sites that I fully plan to keep with Movable Type. And I definitely have one that I have one of the heavyweights like Drupal or Mambo in mind for. But in this case, I am confident I made the right decision.
I will write up more about the move tomorrow.
