Meeting People
The most amazing part of yesterday was how quickly I met in person people I had known only virtually for a very long time. I quickly located the table where Steven Cohen and Blake Carver were sitting. That led me to meet those Movers and Shakers, Michael Stephens and Aaron Schmidt. And today someone walked up to me and said “I’m Greg Schwartz.” And I said, “I know because I recognize your voice.” And countless others who I will leave out for sake of brevity.
We even have Stephen Abram, President of the Canadian Library Association. But I haven’t been able to find Michael Gorman anywhere. I guess I will have to keep looking.
